Havenapos;t gone to bed yet and donapos;t intend to until 10:30 when I get back from Kathyapos;s class. I just finished the worldapos;s most boring paper on Oedipus and Antigone (would have been interesting if it wasnapos;t specified as "compare and contrast") and have to be up in 15 minutes to make sure my group gets all our research properly printed and grouped for Kathy. Iapos;ll sleep until 2 or so, print this piece of Greek crap and hand it in in what will most certainly be my sleepiest western civ class yet.

The reason I finished this paper at 6:30 in the morning is that I took 3 hours out of my night to see THE MOST AMAZING CONCERT EVER. The Elephant 6 Collective (look them up if you donapos;t know who they are and youapos;ll find that you actually DO know who they are--every awesome band to ever come out of Athens, GA ever) played a free show at the Stood and there was no way I was missing it. I do not in any way regret the decision to fuck up my sleep schedule even further because this concert was SO WORTH IT.

I called Bridget during the only song I thought my shitty phone speakers could handle transmitting, a really beautiful one that was mostly just Julian on the banjo saw with occasional bits of brass thrown in. Iapos;m glad they played that song because I had been planning on surprising her with some audio from the show and it was perfect. She really appreciated it, which made me feel even better about taking that break from my homework.

I am so going to need eggs for breakfast.
