finally, the last of the f1 updates im getting quite tired of updating this f1 thing but at least i fufilled my promises to post pictures for this event up. Heh. The race day was the most exciting of all the three days which also translates to it being the most freakinapos; crowded. Remind me again how much i hate crowds. I didnt know how i survived those packed nights at�phuture of yesteryears.

caught the porsche carrera cup race, which took place just before the main event.
remember i mentioned that a cup of coke cost like 8 bucks over at the pit grandstands? the beer is just 2 bucks more. Makes more sense to sip beer. RIGHT?
it was rather overcast that evening. Luckily we bought ponchos, even though we didnt get to use them in the end.
the driversapos; parade. All of them sat in these vintage cars and worked the crowd. Lewis hamilton definitely worked it like a pro.
race queens graced the roads holding flags of the different countries of the f1 drivers.
media and crew flooded to the starting area, waiting for it all to start. Excitement level increased by like 200 percent.
massa for ferrari at pole position. Yep, thats him in the green helmet.
lewis hamilton, just behind massa. Awesome colour combination of his mclaren car love the chrome colour.
raikkonenapos;s ferrari at 3rd place. I know i have such great view of the starting lineup, aint it heh. It all happened by a stroke of luck. Its right in front of the starting/finish line.
the cars zoomed off for one last warm-up round and the crew cleared the roads for the race to start.
off they went. For real this time. The sound was deafening to the max. Just when i thought the qualifiers was bad enough. But to hear all the cars going off at the same time, WOAH.

oh oh oh, the drama that involved massa. Fuel line got stuck and he had to stop and wait for slowpoke ferrari crew (im sure they were running as if their life depended on it but it seemed like eternity). I seriously gasped and grabbed dearapos;s arms. Talk about being so into the race. The last picture of the crew CARRYING the fuel line back, priceless
alonso from renault won (good for him), prize presentation ceremony followed with an obscene watse of champagne, phototaking, interview, yadayada. We left.
